Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA "New Orbit" Series "Pas De Deux"

ADDED CONCERT THURSDAY APRIL 16,09
Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA has added another concert on Thursday, April 16th at the Pasadena Library Donald Wrigh Auditorium at 7pm, lasting til 9pm. Admission is complimentary.

The Juilliard Trained Fordham is a Classical-Fusion-Jazz Pianist and her group is highly musical and virtuostic, featuring Contrabassist Charlie Domingo, and Latin Percussionist Rochelle Coatney. There is a batterie of Tibetan Percussion, adding a most interesting dimension to the sound of Acoustic Steinway, Contrabass and Percussion. Don Littleton, Drummer will be appearing pending his return from Italy.

The Venues that Fordham chooses are hip, Historic, Arty, comfortable and lend themselves to the deep appreciation of Chamber Jazz. In Fordham's group, the music is totally acoustic, exept for the slight amplication on the Contrabass.

"I am very happy to bring my group back to the Wright Auditorium, and really love the Ambience and the Beautiful Steinway Concert Grand Pianos!" Fordham exclaimed...

"It is of utmost importance that we present our concerts, especially in these dire times, people really need to be uplifted, and taken out of their problems, and we are happy to present this work of Art."

SFCJLA's Muses are Evans, Monk, Messian, Bartok, Steinway, and splashes of Avant Garde. providigg splashes of tonal colour!
