Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA "New Orbit" Series "Pas De Deux"

ADDED CONCERT THURSDAY APRIL 16,09
Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA has added another concert on Thursday, April 16th at the Pasadena Library Donald Wrigh Auditorium at 7pm, lasting til 9pm. Admission is complimentary.

The Juilliard Trained Fordham is a Classical-Fusion-Jazz Pianist and her group is highly musical and virtuostic, featuring Contrabassist Charlie Domingo, and Latin Percussionist Rochelle Coatney. There is a batterie of Tibetan Percussion, adding a most interesting dimension to the sound of Acoustic Steinway, Contrabass and Percussion. Don Littleton, Drummer will be appearing pending his return from Italy.

The Venues that Fordham chooses are hip, Historic, Arty, comfortable and lend themselves to the deep appreciation of Chamber Jazz. In Fordham's group, the music is totally acoustic, exept for the slight amplication on the Contrabass.

"I am very happy to bring my group back to the Wright Auditorium, and really love the Ambience and the Beautiful Steinway Concert Grand Pianos!" Fordham exclaimed...

"It is of utmost importance that we present our concerts, especially in these dire times, people really need to be uplifted, and taken out of their problems, and we are happy to present this work of Art."

SFCJLA's Muses are Evans, Monk, Messian, Bartok, Steinway, and splashes of Avant Garde. providigg splashes of tonal colour!

SUEZENNE FORDHAM ADDS CELLIST KEVAN TORFEH TO SUEZENNE FORDHAM CHAMBER JAZZ LA "NEW ORBIT SERIES

Suezenne Fordham Chamber Jazz LA concert on April 26th at the South Pasadena Library Concert hall, will be the first Cello quintet for the group, and will feature new member, Kevan Torfeh, well known LA Cellist. "I have wanted to add cello for many years, Fordham confided. I had always had in mindMaurice Grants who is a Free lance player in LA, but he is a very busy Artist...Then he suggested Kevan, also a very busy LA Player. "

Fordham continued 'Kevan is very well versed in World Music, and we think this will be a dramatic addition."

Don Littleton will return for that performance, also. Don is an icon Jazz drummer internationally known. The Bassist will be beautiful Bassist with bow Charlie"Chasman" Domingo, and of course Beautiful Latin Percussionist-Drummer Rochelle Coatney. Admission is free, but donations gratefully accepted. The concerts are self funded and presented by Suezenne Fordham for the preservation of Chamber Jazz. Fordham, Classical-Fusion Jazz pianist has created a totally new sound with her uncanny vision of the future of her group.
